Ukrainian music is becoming more and more interesting for Chinese students. Thus, on February 26, 2021, the Director of the Center for Cultural Industry of International Cooperation “One Belt, One Road” in Ukraine, Ms. Guan Xian Mei met with the Rector of the National Academy of Music of Ukraine. P.I. Tchaikovsky,  Maxim Tymoshenko. During the meeting, they discussed opportunities for cooperation with Chinese higher education institutions, exchange of students and teachers, as well as holding joint cultural events in both Ukraine and China.

Chinese students have a great interest in studying at one of the best international music academies and gaining unique experience and qualified music education. Therefore, starting next year, the National Academy of Music may open its doors to the admission of Chinese entrants who will study alongside Ukrainian students. In addition to learning, they will be able to share a part of their culture and incredibly interesting traditions, as well as learn about Ukrainian history and art.

At the end of the meeting it was decided to sign a memorandum of cooperation, which will be the first step towards a fruitful, successful partnership.
